Emery's Nursery

Here is a sneak peak at the Baby's room. I am almost done, the only thing left to do is put on the crib bumper, which my stylist, Katie is making the finishing touches on! :) I wish I could take credit for the adorable mobile, blanket, and banner, but it is all Katie's creation.....thank you so much- I SOOOOOOOooooo appreciate it and love, love, love it!!!!

I ended up removing the banner from the crib and putting it on the wall above the changing table. Also, the adorable knitted blanket in the crib was made by Grammy, Sharon- I love it, it is so soft!! Oh, and the baby sitting on the blanket, is "Practice Baby" she came with us to the baby classes and is keeping Emery's bed warm for her. Haha. Kinda spooky!!

39 Weeks....Oh My!

Although I look like a swallowed a beach ball, I am happy to report that I have only gain 1/2 a pound in a month!! But as you can see my belly bump has definitely done some growing, which means that Emery is getting bigger, and bigger each day. Let's just hope that she stays under 8 pounds!!

I can't believe I have been pregnant for 39 weeks, it is pretty crazy! In some ways it feels like it's been 2 years and other times it feels like it has flown by. I am feeling pretty good this week, although last week I was convinced that I was going to have the baby with in hours. I was having pretty constant contractions and cramps, but nothing that lasted more than a few hours. Today, I feel really good, better than I have felt the past five days............so it seems to me, like Emery is not going to greet us with her presence until her due date or later!! Tyler and I are both doing our best to enjoy our quite, non- diaper changing life while we can. It is our last week of just, "Jamie and Tyler", so we are going to spend as much time hanging out, sleeping in, going out to dinner and lounging on the couch while we can. It may be a week or a matter of hours, too bad the due date isn't a guarantee!

Emery's First Portrait

Here is a picture of Emery's chubby face!!
Tyler and I were able to get an ultrasound last Thursday and it was so fun to see how much the baby has grown. It is amazing what goes on inside there! We were able to see her face, her eyes open and close and her moving around. The doctor measured her head and bones and it came out that she is already 6.9 pounds.........holy moly!  I was like, does that mean that she is going to weigh 10 pounds.....because, I am not prepared to have a 10 pound baby!! She better slow down, or I am going to be really scare. Tyler and I want a chubby, healthy baby, but I will be happy with a nice average 7 1/2 pounder. haha.

Tyler and I have made some MAJOR progress the past two weekends. We were able to get most of the room set up, baby clothes washed and put in the closet and drawers. I loved washing Emery's little, tiny outfits, socks, and blanky's. Now we are just waiting on the crib bedding and getting some stuff on the walls and we will be completely ready....well, not completey! haha. I will make sure to post some pictures of the finished project. We only have 3 1/2 more weeks to go and we are so excited to finally meet baby Emery, but I think both Tyler and I need those last few weeks to get mentally prepared. Oh boy....or should I say, oh girl. <3

36 1/2 weeks

I am really, really big now!! I thought I better snap some pictures of the baby bump now, since I only have about 3 weeks left and who knows what is going to happen and when!! I am sure that I will probably be late rather than early, but you never know.

Belly, Belly, Belly....

They both went above and beyond to make the sweetest decorations and most delish food! I am very, very lucky to have such wonderful friends. <3 Once I get the pictures from the San Jose shower, I will post them ASAP!

Tyler and the boys went to the beach for the day and came back to help us fill the car with all of the gifts.
