Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

I wanted to wish every one a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! This is Emery's first Christmas and we couldn't be more excited to watch her tare open (and suck on) her first presents! We are going to San Jose for Christmas this year, in fact we are leaving in about an hour....Tyler would be mad if her knew I was "blogging" instead of packing. opps! Grandma and Grandpa G and Grandma Judy are sooooooooo excited to see us (I mean Emery).

I am sure we will be more than picture happy, so I will make sure to add some pics of her when we get back from San Jose.

Emery's is really getting into the holiday spirit!

She loved Santa!

Long time no blog

Well...I thought that I would be home with Emery and be able to blog away once a week and update all of my friends and family with pictures and storys about our adventures as parents.........that clearly did not happen!! This is my first post in about 5 months...opps. I thought that I would get every one updated with some pictures of Emery from 1 to 5 months. I can not believe that our little nugget is almost 6 months old....tear.

We can't STOP taking pictures of Emery Violet

Emery's Birth Day!!

Emery Violet Kenney entered the world on July 11, 2011, at 10:25 p.m. weighing in at 8 pounds 3 oz. and 20 inches long......and SUPER ADORABLE!!! Tyler and I were expecting a chubby, blond, smooshed-face baby, BUT instead, we got a beautiful, dark haired, baby girl with perfect skin. We are both in love and quickly learning that being a parent is not easy, but is just as wonderful as everyone says.

It truly is a MIRACLE

Since I ended up being a week late, my family and Judy ended up changing there plans a little bit, and postponing their trip to SD, by a week. We had a big crew..........to say the least!! My whole family, plus my Aunt Paula, Uncle Gary, Tyler's parents, The Giffin's, Ken and Julie and Karen and Willa. Thank you Aunt Cindy for turning your home into the "Giff Inn" for two weeks.

Daddy coming to tell the crew that Emery has arrived!

On our way HOME.

Our first trip to the beach with Emery at 4 days old.
